Peace

Pray for the ruling peace of Christ in heart, home, and relationships.

Scripture

John 14:25-27

I have said these things to you, while still living with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

Colossians 3:12-17

Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.

Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever; for in Yah, the LORD, is an everlasting Rock.

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 29:11

The LORD will give strength to his people. The LORD will bless his people with peace.

1 Peter 5:7

casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Romans 12:10

In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;

Pray these

  1. Father, let the peace of Christ govern my reactions and decisions.
  2. Father, quiet internal chaos and teach me steadfast trust.
  3. Father, help me practice forgiveness, gratitude, and truthful community.
  4. Father, show me where peace requires wise boundaries, repentance, or courageous action.
  5. Father, make me a peacemaker who reflects Christ without avoiding necessary truth.
