Pray for steady confidence rooted in God rather than in performance

Proverbs 29:25

The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the LORD is kept safe.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

Psalm 46:5

God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.

Pray these

  1. Lord, root my confidence in You and not in how well today goes.
  2. Where fear of people has been steering me, free me from it.
  3. Give me courage to speak and act without needing approval first.
  4. Quiet the voice that replays my failures back to me.
  5. Let my confidence make room for others rather than crowd them out.
