Before a Meeting

Pray for wisdom, clarity, favor, and integrity in meetings.

Scripture

James 1:5

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.

Proverbs 16:1-3

The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weighs the motives. Commit your deeds to the LORD, and your plans shall succeed.

Colossians 4:5-6

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Pray these

  1. Father, give me wisdom for every decision and question before us.
  2. Father, help me prepare thoroughly while remaining sensitive to Your direction.
  3. Father, let my words be clear, gracious, honest, and timely.
  4. Father, expose confusion, hidden agendas, and assumptions that would hinder progress.
  5. Lead us toward decisions that are just, fruitful, and aligned with Your will.
