Freedom

Pray for freedom from condemnation, bondage, and darkness for holy living.

Scripture

Galatians 5:1, 13-16

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Romans 8:1-4

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. For what the law couldn't do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Colossians 1:13-14

who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins;

Pray these

  1. Thank You for the freedom secured through Christ.
  2. Father, break every habit, lie, and allegiance that keeps me living as though I am still enslaved.
  3. Father, teach me to use freedom to love and serve rather than indulge the flesh.
  4. Father, help me walk daily by the Holy Spirit.
  5. Father, make my life a testimony of rescue, transformation, and belonging in Christ’s kingdom.
