Living Holy

Pray for holiness formed by grace, truth, and consecration.

Scripture

1 Peter 1:13-16

Therefore prepare your minds for action, be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ— as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts as in your ignorance, but just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy; for I am holy.”

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Titus 2:11-14

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age; looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

Pray these

  1. Reveal every area I have withheld from Your rule.
  2. Father, renew my mind so I no longer conform to destructive patterns.
  3. Father, teach me to see grace as power for transformation, not permission for compromise.
  4. Father, strengthen my choices, relationships, sexuality, speech, and habits in holiness.
  5. Father, make my life distinct in love, purity, justice, humility, and devotion to Christ.
